The 2010 Western Sydney Excellence in Education Awards was held on the 1st of December 2010at Rooty Hill High School. Jasbinder Kaur of Erskine Park High School was awarded the Regional Directors award for outstanding School Leadership.

Jasbinder is 2010 School Captain of her school and has partaken in many Youth Leadership activitiesduring her time as Captain. Jasbinder is a regular attendee of the Sikh Youth Australia Camps and is aYouth Leader in the Sydney Sikh Community. She has recently completed her HSC and hopes to gainentry into University next year.
