SYA’s clean up Australia day 2014

‘Pavan Guru Pani Pita, Mata Dharat Mahat !’
(Air is the Guru, Water the Father, and the Earth is the Great Mother)

As Sikhs we believe all humans have an intrinsic sensitivity to the natural world, and flourishing as individuals comes manifold with a vibrant environment.

Would you prefer an environment contaminated with rubbish and a heap of other pollutants or an environment where clean water, clean air, clean land, and biodiversity prosper? We suppose it’s the latter…

Sikh Youth Australia is hosting a Clean Up Australia Day at Wadangalli Woodland in Guildford from 10AM – 1PM, followed by a picnic in the park. We will be meeting in Campbell Hill Pioneer Reserve’s carpark (the park is located on 65 Campbell Hill Road, Guildford)

Cleaning up the environment may seem like a difficult task, but it’s important to remember a little always goes a long way, especially when we have our generation and future generations at hand.

So come along, get your hands dirty, bring a few friends and help make a difference!
