After the success of our first Knitting Day in March, we have decided to hold another to refresh everyone’s mind, for those who missed out in March, and also another excuse to get together!!
WHERE –> This time around we will be knitting outdoors at Bicentennial Park, so bring a picnic blanket along if you like.
TIME –> from 2pm until 4pm
HOW –> Bring your knitting needles and yarn/wool which you purchased for the first knitting event. If you don’t have knitting needles, aim to buy 4mm sized needles and 3ply yarn/wool.
WHY/WHAT —> We will be knitting squares to create warm blankets to donate to underprivileged people in Sydney.
WHO —> Anyone who can knit, or is willing to learn a fun new skill!! Don’t worry if you’re a first timer, members of the Sikh to Give team will be able to assist!
Hope to see you all next week!!! If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact any of us, we’re happy to help with any queries 🙂
