The Young Sikhs Professional Network - Leading the way for Australia

Posted on 22/02/13 by Devpaal Singh | Category: Events | 3 Comments»

Sikh Youth Australia is proud to present: the Young Sikh Professionals Network (YSPN).  It is an exciting new intitiative that was nurtured at the 2012 SYA leadership weekend

YSPN events are structured to encourage members to reach beyond their comfort zone and have a chat with somebody they have never met before. Exposure to these events motivates young Sikhs to the next level of success.

The YSPN executive is comprised of actuaries, bankers, consultants, entrepreneurs and lawyers. Each of the executive have their own personal stories of the power of networking and are committed to fostering a new level of connectivity amongst the young Sikhs of Australia.
Late in 2012, YSPN launched its preview event to much success, with the turnout surpassing expectations. The preview event featured a keynote from Mr Sarv Girn, Chief Information Officer of the Reserve Bank of Australia. Attendees were also able to use the opportunity to mingle and meet other young Sikhs, with many participants confirming that it was a fantastic opportunity for them to meet people they had not known previously.

YSPN

The YSPN team is currently working on the next event, to be held in April. This event will feature two eminent keynotes. Keep an eye out on the YSPN Facebook page, as we reveal exciting details as they are updated.
For more information, and to be kept informed of new events, check the YSPN Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/YoungSikhProfessionalsNetworkAus. You can message YSPN with your e-mail address and we’ll send you a personalised invitation to our next event.

And finally, check out the SBS radio interview with Ramneek Singh from YSPN.

My husband and I are professionals and have recently migrated to Melbourne from the UK.  We were wondering when more information about future events will be released?
