Sikh Youth Australia Launches First Ever Shabad Video Mosaic Collaboration

Posted on 5/06/20 by Devpaal Singh | Category: Announcements | 0 Comments»

In a world first and at a time when humanity is seeking peace and solidarity, Sikh Youth Australia (SYA) is delighted to present a music (gursangeet) video collaboration involving over 21 SYA families from all over the world.

“Mere Naal Hai” simply translated to mean “He is With Me” serves as a message of comfort and support from Sikh Youth Australia to everyone to keep their faith and know that everything will be OK.

A project of this scale across borders involves hours of hard work by volunteers who spent time recording, gathering videos from contributors, extracting sound and visuals – all to produce a memorable collaboration that is representative of the sign of our times.

Sikh Youth Australia would like to express its sincere thanks to world-renowned Dya Singh for initiating the composition and arrangement of the music score, Hardeep Girn for producing the final video, Quentin Eyers for digitally  mastering the sound, Veer Manpreet Singh for his melodious contribution and Jamel K. Singh for bringing all the pieces together and making the video collaboration a reality.

Most importantly, SYA extends its gratitude to every individual from around the world who contributed to this meaningful project.

Our ask is simple. If you enjoyed this shabad rendition, please share it widely with your family and friends.

Sikh Youth Australia stands in the service of the community and we will continue our efforts to promote Guru Nanak’s universal message of humanity and oneness.
